We will go through a google slide presentation, discuss the size of problem and size of reaction strategy, as well as read aloud a story called "Someday a Bird Will Poop on You" to help apply the strategy. This is a discussion-based course, participation will be beneficial to all students. We will be considering when we have a problem how to make sure the size of the problem matches your reaction. As well as considering: Who does the problem effect? Who does my reaction effect? Students will also identify different sizes of problems in their daily lives and consider appropriate reactions. There is no background knowledge needed! The students will need to come up their own examples of small, medium and big problems, so they will need paper and pencil prepared to jot these down.
