Homework
1-2 hours per week. The homework for the class is optional, but recommended.
Assessment
Each week we will have a written assignment, critical thinking short answer question, and quiz.
Grading
I will keep a gradebook for each learner by request and assign them a letter grade.

How are thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impacted by other people or social norms? In this class, we will cover major topics in the field of social psychology. Social psychology encompasses a large variety of topics including: aggression, leadership, social norms, prejudice, helping behavior, friendship/romantic relationships, group behavior, conformity. 

I will post several recorded video lectures, an assignment, a critical thinking question, and a quiz. Learners are welcome to turn in their completed work to receive feedback and a grade.

Introduction
 What is social psychology? We will discuss research methods & critically analyze a research article. 
Lesson 2:
Self-esteem
 Learn about two theories of self-esteem & how self-esteem is related to being famous. 
Lesson 3:
Attitudes (part 1)
 We'll introduce how social psychologists study attitudes & learn about the Stanford Prison Experiment. 
Lesson 4:
Attitudes (part 2)
 We'll continue our discussion of attitudes and learn about impostor syndrome.
