Social Collage Club
In this social class, we will create collages based on a theme. This will be a randomly generated word, a celebration, holiday, event, or season. We will generate/recall ideas as a class to help us develop our collages.

1 hour per week. Homework is to gather the resources needed for the class, glue, scissors, tape, and a variety of collage material from a wide range of sources - old wrapping paper, receipts, tickets, magazines, etc.Class Experience
Intermediate Level
In this class, students will develop ideas generation skills in relation to a given theme. Students will use communication skills to explain ideas, where they sourced their collage materials from, and the techniques they are using. Students will socially interact with each other as they are working on collage pieces independently. The class outline is as follows; Student/teacher introductions Collage materials discussion Theme given to class Ideas generation on a shared Jam Board Independent collage creation with social interaction Show and tell collage creation to class, with explanation of techniques used Students will bring their own collage materials to class. Discussions will be based on topics that have happened that week. All ability levels are welcome. From these sessions, I hope that students can create collages they are proud of, and hopefully make some friends.

Students will improve their skills in collage, and communication, whilst developing their creativity.

Parental Guidance
Students may choose to use scissors. Please ensure that are suitable for the age range, and experience of the student.
Pre-Requisites
Learners should know what a collage is, and the basics of how to create them.
Supply List
Collage materials; Old newspapers, magazines, books (that can be ripped up, or have cut outs from), scraps of wallpaper, wrapping paper, receipts, brown paper, tracing paper, lined paper, coloured paper, old greetings cards, etc. Glue - PVA, or stick Pad of paper, or sketchbook to collage in Scissors Ruler, and pencil if desired
