In this one-time class, students will hear from a newly graduated veterinarian to learn about the process of preparing, applying to, and being in veterinary school. This includes: -Choosing a school for undergraduate -Choosing an undergraduate degree -Options for attending veterinary school -Preparing to be a candidate for vet school -How to be a competitive vet school candidate -What being a veterinarian really entails -The challenges and joys of veterinary school and veterinary medicine -Alternative paths in veterinary medicine There will be ample time for students to ask questions and discuss all of the aspects of veterinary medicine and vet school.

After class, I will provide learners with a handy sheet that contains most of the information covered in the session as well as links to other resources.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
