In this live one time class your young artist will use a variety of paper techniques that they can use over and over. We will begin by constructing the planet by tracing a blue circle, then practice cutting organic free form shapes out of green for the landmasses. Once I demonstrate how to assemble those we will move onto the funny face. After the face we work on the hat, and fun filled confetti background. I encourage lots of questions, and sharing as we work through this exciting project. I can not wait to get started.

-Students will cut geometric shapes.
-Students will cut freeform shapes.
-Students will identify and create overlap.
-Students will create a planet.
-Students will gain confidence in their overall art skills.

We will be using scissors.
Supply List
-9x12 black construction paper or any color for the background -9x12 blue construction paper -Green, orange, white, yellow, and red construction paper any size -Pencil -Scissors -Glue -Black marker for eyes

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
