✩ 𝙋𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙎𝙀 𝙉𝙊𝙏𝙀 --- this is a flexible schedule class, so there are NO scheduled live meetings. Each week there will be a video where your child can follow along with Mrs. Carol as we sing, tap, move, play simple instruments all while learning musical concepts. 

If your family has a busy schedule but wants to include music part of your child’s curriculum this is a good alternative as you can watch the video anytime.  

If your child loves music they will love this class.  It will be a fun hands-on interactive class.  We will keep the same format and routine for each class, so that your child learns what to expect, but each week we will learn one new element.  We will follow the seasons and learn musical concepts such as keeping a beat, what is a rhythm pattern, loud and soft, high and low, smooth/gentle and jumpy music and more..........

No previous music experience is needed.   My teaching style is filled with enthusiasm, kindness, and my goal is to help your child gain a love and joy for music.

Most songs will repeat each week, so that students are familiar and look forward to them with the exception of the song that helps us learn our concept that week.

We will do some movement so make sure you have enough room to be able to stand and move in one spot.  

Each Sunday evening there will be a video posted to the classroom as well as a worksheet your child can color.   Your child is welcome to send a video of themselves singing their favorite song we sang that week, or even a picture of themselves with their favorite stuffed animal to the classroom.  

To make each class fun please have the following available in case we use it in the weekly class. 

If you have rhythm instruments, that’s great, but if you don’t………….these will work very well. 👇

Rhythm sticks - wooden spoons or anything you can tap together
Shaker - fill a small container with rice, beans, beads or popcorn kernels
Drum - a pot or plastic container with a round bottom 
Scarf - fashion scarf or dish towel that can wave through the air for movement 
Stuffie - favourite stuffie
