Class Experience

Spend time in the Mesozoic Era in the Time of Dinosaurs. Meet Dinosaurs from the three Periods - Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous. Learn about Earth during each of these periods. Explore the dinosaurs, how they lived, what they ate. We will also learn about Fossils and how they teach us about dinosaurs. See real fossils, including dinosaur bones!

Children should bring some of their favorite dinosaurs to class on their assigned day to share with their classmates.

We will see a short movie made just for the class every day. We will also make a dinosaur-themed project every day. Children may need some assistance with their projects.

I encourage children to participate fully in my classes. Classes are designed for the age group. I keep all of my classes small, so everyone has a chance to share and ask questions.

Our class schedule will be:
Day 1: Dinosaurs! / We will make dinosaur puppets
Day 2: Life in the Triassic Period - Early Dinosaurs / We will make a diorama home for our dinosaurs
Day 3: Life in the Jurassic Period - Rise of the Dinosaurs / We will make Design-Your-Own Dinosaur
Day 4: Life in the Cretaceous Period - Dominance of the Dinosaurs / We will make Pterodactyl Puppets
Day 5: Fossils / We will make a dinosaur bone fossil
