This class meets twice a week as an intensive intervention for struggling readers.

πŸ“– INTENSIVE READING INSTRUCTION
Learners who are reading below grade level often require intensive reading support. Recent studies from the National Bureau of Economic Research show that high-dosage tutoring, with at least three weekly sessions lasting 30 minutes each, is key for academic success. I've created this course to

Learning Needs
The content in this course uses a systematic approach to teaching foundational reading skills that has been proven as a best practice in teaching learners with dyslexia to read.
Pre-Requisites
Learners should be able to recognize and read words with blends and digraphs: went, duck, stuck or reading at a 1st grade reading level.
