This ongoing class is for young readers. Each class will contain 6 sections: 1. We will learn or review a letter digraph, diphthong, and/ or combinations. 2. We will practice segmenting and spelling words with our target sound. 3. We will skim the passage and highlight our weekly sound. 4. We will read the passage, stopping to use decoding strategies of unknown words. Each passage will be 10-15 sentences. 5. We will read the passage again for fluency.
