Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 2
This camp will be an adventure of discovering and reviewing math concepts through song! We will sing skip-counting songs, sing songs about mathematical concepts (like telling time!), and more! This 1 week camp will build progressively each day on the concepts learned in the previous day's class. There will be time to practice our new math knowledge through a Canva slide presentation, as well as using their own drawing items and optional manipulatives they bring to class! Students will not even realize how much they are learning, while they are having so much fun singing together!

Day 1 - Introducing skip-counting by 3s and by 5s songs, and the how to tell time song
Day 2 - Introducing skip-counting by 2s and 4s songs, and more practice with how to tell time
Day 3 - Practice skip-counting songs, begin adding items together by 2s
Day 4 - Review all songs, add items together by 3s
Day 5 - Review all songs and time-telling, add items together by 4s

👶🤰 I have a newborn at home who might make brief appearances during class!

What parents say about my classes:

"Wonderful class! My usually shy and quiet daughter loved the class and felt encouraged by Ms. Anneliese's feedback. She is excited to learn that she will continue on with the next series of classes."

"My 5 year old daughter loved the class, she was engaged the while time. She was happy singing and learning. She connected very well with the teacher. This was her first outschool class, she will be doing some more."

"We love this class! It was my son’s first exposure to reading time and he learned so much in a short amount of time. We are so grateful also that the teacher did not cancel the class even if it was only my son who enrolled in the time slot we picked."

I teach to every student's personality in my classes, regardless of their learning ability.
