What's included
1 live meeting
50 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this informal, workshop-style class, students will learn how to analyze and answer essay questions typical of standardized tests and classroom exams in courses such as history and English. Emphasis will be on planning and structuring written responses using provided materials. The course size will be kept small in order to accommodate students working at different levels, though close enough in age that everyone can learn from the discussion. Students will be given specific, level-appropriate writing challenges each work to complete for the next session they attend.
Learning Goals
Plan your work, work your plan. We will focus on how to develop a quick thesis based on provided materials, writing an introductory statement, concluding statement and then start to develop supporting paragraphs.
