Students will learn the steps to sketch fashion figures and how to draw clothing onto those figures. We will start by covering the basics of quick figure pose drawing, using simple-shaped figures to lay our clothing designs on top. The class will learn about different clothing styles and fabric details, such as how a garment may fall, lay, and fit on a figure. The class will also learn how to draw different types of fashion themes into sketches. Note: I will demonstrate how to complete this lesson using the digital program FireAlpaca. This program is not required for students. Students can use any pencil, paper, or multimedia tools to complete this class, which focuses on learning to sketch and draw step-by-step.
