Sir Cumference & the Isle of Immeter [Perimeter, Area, Circumference] Live Class
What's included
1 live meeting
45 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Beginning with story time, I will read "Sir Cumference and the Isle of Immeter" by Cindy Neuschwander. Then with an area (for rectangles & circles) video clip, we will examine the importance, and relationship, of perimeter and area for squares and circles. The students will then create their own version of a map of rooms and find the perimeter of those rooms. Finally, I will provide a link enrichment activity for after class to continue the study of area. This is a great introduction into area, or a good review, for anyone who needs it.

Hello from Texas! Although I am currently residing in Texas, we move quite often and that has allowed me to have many different types of career experiences. I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom (including 4th grade and Texas History); substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level (History); assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins. I have worked with early education all the way up to the community college level. My Bachelors is in childhood education with a Master's in American History.
