I have worked continuously as a private music instructor for two decades. I have coached hundreds of aspiring musicians and have learned first hand what teaching techniques bring out the best in my students. I am a published songwriter and have also worked as a session singer in Los Angeles for over 10 years lending my music and voice to many tv and film projects. I'm extremely passionate about music and the incredible benefits it has to offer.
It is important to me that my students have a pleasant learning experience so I love to give positive feedback and encouragement. I will offer my knowledge and expertise at appropriate times and also keep things lighthearted and fun for young learners. If you are looking for more personalized instruction that is catered directly to your learner, I recommend my 1:1 classes as they are structured to each students individual needs.
It's also my greatest pleasure to be homeschooling my 6 yr. old son and I feel so lucky to be able to share my love of music with him as he starts out on his learning journey. When I am not teaching, homeschooling, or making music, you can find me out hiking and being inspired by nature!
