Hello sushi lover! In this one time class, you'll be led by Chef Mary to prepare 3 simple types of sushi. We'll create California Rolls, Tuna Rolls, and Philadelphia Rolls. Sushi is surprisingly easy to make and so versatile to customize to tastes and desires. This is such a fun experience to make sushi, and it does not require any fancy tools or materials! During class I start with a short introduction of myself and the learners. I review materials and ingredients needed for class, then we get cooking. During class we'll have some time during prep that we can talk and discuss with each other. I prefer students to stay on camera with sound on, so I can track their progress. I'll be actively teaching and demonstrating during class as I'll be making sushi along with the students. I will post a copy of the recipe we'll be using along with a handy step by step in photos. If this helps you print it out and bring to class, this is optional as I'll be walking the students through all the steps. **Allergen warning** During class we may use dairy, wheat, soy, eggs, shellfish, etc please contact Chef Mary with any substitution questions. **Parental Guidance** During class we will be using sharp knives, the stovetop to make rice, and be rolling sushi. Hand dexterity is important in this class. Depending on your learner's skillset and knowledge more direct parental supervision may be required.
