Simple Sushi 3 Ways!

In this professional chef led, one time course, we'll make sushi rolls 3 different ways. We'll prepare rice, learn how to cut our veggies, assemble the sushi, roll the sushi, cut it, and of course eat it! Great for a beginner!

Class Experience

I am a professional chef with over 10 years of experience.
I will post a copy of the recipe with extensive materials and ingredients listed in the classroom once required number of students are registered. A basic list of ingredients and supplies is listed below Ingredients: Rice Nori Wraps Sushi grade tuna or canned tuna Imitation crab--leg style Sushi grade salmon, smoked salmon, or cooked salmon cream cheese cucumber avocado Mayonnaise Sriracha Optional other sushi ingredients vinegar water sugar salt Materials needed: Large sauce pot with matching lid small sauce pot Rimmed baking sheet large cutting board several small bowls for cut ingredients small whisk small mixing bowl plastic wrap SHARP chef's knife
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
**Allergen warning** During class we may use dairy, wheat, soy, eggs, shellfish, etc please contact Chef Mary with any substitution questions.
**Parental Guidance** During class we will be using sharp knives, the stovetop to make rice, and be rolling sushi. Hand dexterity is important in this class. Depending on your learner's skillset and knowledge more direct parental supervision may be required.
