Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the basics of American Sign Language (ASL) and will be able to use basic sign phrases and fingerspelling to communicate. Students will be asked to practice the ASL alphabet, fingerspelling, and learned signs.
As a special education teacher, I have taught sign language for the past 20 years. In addition, I have taken several college level courses in sign language.
Students will be asked to practice the ASL alphabet, fingerspelling, and learned signs.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
