In this ongoing class, we will read passages that contain short and long vowel word families, blends, digraphs, diphthongs, r-controlled vowels, pre-primer, and primer sight words. These reading activities focus on developing phonics skills, reading comprehension, sight word fluency, vocabulary, and writing. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching children how to read in small groups or 1 on 1 in a class and home setting.
Homework Offered
Learners should practice reading the passages and writing the word families we learned that day. I would assign a page or two for practice.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
