Description
Class Experience
Sight words are an essential part of early childhood reading and writing. Many sight words are not easily decodable. But even when they are, all sight words are found in texts so often that knowing how to easily read and spell them allows children to focus their energy on other words that are not as familiar. Even the youngest children can benefit from sight word exposure. Some children will learn sight words easily, while others will need repeated exposure. This class is for all children....
Optional work will be sent. I strongly encourage families to take advantage of this extra practice.
colors, scissors, paper, glue, pencil, handouts that I will provide, any additional materials will be listed next to the word for the week
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
