* I have added an additional video to this course. It is about how our behavior and words affect others. I wanted to add an update to be sure as my students needs change, I am addressing new issues that arise. In this class we will discuss the "it's not fair" side of life. I will teach your little learners several different ways to calm themselves down, refocus and find different and new ways to communicate with not only their siblings but other people in their lives. Everyday stresses can lead to outbursts and anger. These emotions make it hard for young adults to respond to people they love in a kind and respectful manner. Let's work together and find an alternative to raising our voices so we can have a calmer and more loving household. 1st Class NOT FAIR, perceived favoritism, not getting what we want. Sometimes we feel our siblings get more time, attention or gifts. This can create anger and animosity, we will talk about both in this class. 2nd Class Communication starters, seeing our siblings perspective and why you may get angry when their opinions may not match yours. Agreeing to disagree, calmly! Arguing just to argue solves nothing. We are going to discuss rational thinking and logical reasoning. 3rd Class How to resolve issues, new solutions to old problems. Do you fight over the same issues over and over? Letโs find a solution and move forward. 4th Class Ways to calm ourselves. Keeping our anger under control. This class is not therapeutic in nature. It is taught to show children there is another way to coexist without all of the yelling and anger. The videos are shorter than a live class. Your child is welcome to pause, rewatch and take notes. Since this is not a live class with interaction, all of the information can be presented in a shorter time frame. Thus making it more informative and easier for students to sit through.
