In this ongoing class, learners will take turns sharing an item related to the weekly topic, there will be time to interact as they will be encouraged to ask questions to the presenter and answer questions after they present.

Each week will have a theme based on a five-week rotating schedule. I will begin the class by sharing an item related to the weekly theme. Then, with all other mics muted, learners will take turns sharing their item related to the weekly theme. There will be a question-and-answer time at the end of each learner's sharing time where the learners are able to converse with each other. This class will help learners practice taking turns, public speaking, conversation skills, and attentive listening. Learners that don't want to share are welcome to attend and participate by listening and asking questions of those that are sharing. This is an ongoing class, not a one-time class, so learners may enroll and unroll as they please. Learners are welcome to join class for even just one session. I will run this class even if only one learner is enrolled. The weekly themes are listed below, and I encourage learners to be creative in how they share related to the weekly theme. There are five themes that repeat every 5 weeks: Weeks of: 10/03/2022 Favorite color: any item that is in your favorite color 10/10/2022 Favorite creation: something that you made or colored 10/17/2022 Favorite pet or stuffed animal 10/24/2022 Favorite board game or toy 10/31/2022 Favorite book or coloring book 11/07/2022 Favorite color: any item that is in your favorite color 11/14/2022 Favorite creation: something that you made or colored 11/21/2022 *There will be no class held this week* 11/28/2022 Favorite pet or stuffed animal 12/02/2022 Favorite board game or toy 12/12/2022 Favorite book or coloring book 12/19/2022 Favorite color: any item that is in your favorite color

Hello, everyone! I’m Ms. Lorinda.
I have classes listed for learners between 3 to 11 years old and will hold class with a minimum of one enrolled learner. I hold animal themed story time classes, which include a craft project, as well as show & tell classes. I also have 1:1 private story time classes for 3-5 year old learners where, in the ongoing option, I can tailor the lessons for each learner.
I have experience teaching my children at home, as well as teaching preschool music classes and substituting for teachers and paraprofessionals in public schools. I like to connect with my learners through a common love of animals while creating a fun and relaxing learning environment.
