Show and Tell with American Girl Doll
Students will answer reporter questions (5 W's and 1 H), predetermined by me, about their doll they chose to show and tell.
Class Experience
This session will be just like a structured show and tell lesson in an elementary classroom. The prepared questions are: 1. Does your doll have a name? If not what type of doll is she? 2. If your doll had hobbies, what would they be and why? 3. Does your doll live in the present day or another year and why? 4. Where does your doll live and why? (If your doll lives where you do, just say that they live where you do, do not say your state or city) 5. How did you get your doll? 6. Why do you...
- Literacy: The student will be able to create answers to the 5 W's and 1 H and stay on topic for at least five of their six answers.
- Literacy: The student will be able to create a question (Open or closed) that is focused on the topic.
