US Grade 2 - 5
Learners will research, draw and present a shark of their choice. Some of the information that learners will research and learn on their shark includes: What is its common and scientific name? Where is it currently found/distribution? What are some of its physical characteristics? What is its role in the ecosystem? Week 1 & 2: Select and research a shark Each learner will select and conduct research on a shark. Learners will practice and gain researching skills. Week 3: Draw your shark and prepare presentation Learners will draw their shark and start preparing a poster or presentation. Week 3 & 4: Presentation Learners will complete their presentation and will share their drawing and presentation on their shark with the class. ***Note: Learners can take this class multiple times to research different sharks.****
