Beginning our class with introductions and an affirmation to set the tone for our learning environment. We then will move onto introducing our learning objectives and key points of the lesson. In this class we will focus on the anthropology related discovers centering sharks evolutionary changes through time. Through a guided discussion and brief topic related videos, we will explore a variety of topics like; shark anatomy , fossils and fossil discovery, different shark species, as well some of the anthropologists & scientists that made evolutionary discovers related to sharks. In our discussion learners will have the opportunity to not only gain new knowledge on fossils and sharks but also share their thoughts and opinions around the subject. To recap all that has been learned, a PDF file of the lesson with follow up questions that reinforced the learning objectives for learners to share what they learned in their own words.
Learning Goals
Gain basic knowledge and understanding of shark evolution through time, fossils and fossil identification, anthropology related discovers in relation to shark, and shark anatomy.
Introduction into anthropology studies
Learn and define vocabulary relevant to sharks and anthropogony

Parental Guidance
This lesson will discuss topics of animal evolution and shark anatomy. All topics have been researched heavily and will be transcribed into an age appropriate manner.

I hold 2 degrees. One in Africana/Black Studies and one in Social Sciences. I am currently enrolled in a masters program for African Studies with a minor in Education. I also homeschool my own children and create all of their history/social studies content.
