Join in on the Shakespeare fun! Please note each day has a different focus. We'll cover: *Shakespearean monologues *Shakespearean scenes *Shakespeare's sonnets *Stage Combat in Shakespeare's plays *Shakespeare's language and how we can understand it Actors will walk away from this camp having learned: *a fun recognizable Shakespeare monologue *how to connect with their scene partner in a scene from one of Shakespeare's plays *how to understand Shakespeare's language *some fun stage combat!...
Actors will learn: *how to understand the language of one of our greatest playwrights *Shakespearean monologues, scenes, sonnets, and stage combat *how to connect with their scene partner (yes, even virtually) *confidence and ownership of a new skill *Shakespeare's background and history from someone who has studied with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Shakespeare's hometown, Stratford-upon-Avon in England
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
