Each week of this ongoing course, students will read and discuss one story from the book "Tales from Shakespeare" by Charles and Mary Lamb.

US Grade 4 - 7
Each Week of this ongoing class, students will work through one story from the book Tales From Shakespeare by Charles and Mary Lamb. These stories are shortened forms of many of the original Shakespeare plays that have been retold with children in mind. While much of the Shakespearean language has been retained, some adult themes have been edited out so that each story is suited to a younger audience. Students will listen to the audio version of each story while following along in there...
Students will become familiar with the characters, plots, and settings of Shakespeare's plays. Students will gain familiarity with some of the language and grammar used in the plays. Students will be able to discuss Shakespeare's work in a general, introductory way and will be better prepared for further Shakespeare studies.
Students will need to come to each meeting with a copy of "Tales From Shakespeare" by Charles and Mary Lamb.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
