Teacher Jaime (she/them) Jaime has extensive sewing experience and currently teaches sewing in-person at a local school. She successfully leads her young learners through projects from beginner to advanced. Jaime also has experience in the world of children’s theater costume design. Jaime is also a homeschool mom who brings warmth and empathy to her classroom. She is passionate about a wide variety of artistic endeavors and music. Her learners benefit from her tremendous support and knowledge.
To complete this session, learners should: - be at their sewing machine and have the power/foot pedal connected. - have at least one needle for their sewing machine, a spool of thread, and a bobbin (empty or full - either work). - Have sewing scissors and some woven (not stretchy) scrap fabric handy so they test stitches
Learners will be using sharp objects, such as needles and scissors, during this class. Proper safety guidance and techniques will be shared by the educator.
