Class Experience

Members are encouraged to bring any projects they're working on, or any projects they have questions about. 

Members need to bring their threaded sewing machines to class each week. 

Here are the specific material needs for each week. Please have all patterns cut out and pieced together prior to class. All patterns are copyrighted by their specific owners. I do not own any patterns, unless they have my name on them. In accordance with the terms of use on each website, please do not reproduce or distribute patterns.:

Week of: 

May 13: Hair Towel: old towel cut into  2 pieces 12 x 25 inch, 1 button, elastic

May 20: Maxi Dress: 3-4 yards knit fabric (twice the length you want the dress to be), 1" wide elastic

June 3: Towel Pool Bag: old towel, long strip of fabric (can be multiple pieces of fabric)

June10: Embroidery: Embroidery hoop (such as, embroidery thread (such as, 1/4 yard embroidery fabric or canvas, pen

June 17: Playing Card Holder: 1/2 yard of felt for exterior, Four 9" x 12" sheets of felt for applique, 1 yard of mid weight fusible interfacing OR 1/2 yard heavyweight fusible interfacing, small plate (salad or luncheon plate will work; to be used as a template)
