Class experience
In this one time class students will use a sewing machine to sew their own cloth bowl cozies for personal use. I will show how to size and cut a pattern and fabrics and then pin and sew their cozies together. Students will need some basic skills in cutting, pinning, threading a needle and sewing machine use. I will provide a pattern for students to use to pin and cut their fabrics. We will then add the cotton batting and sew our fabrics. I teach using tell, show, do and feedback allowing...
*minimum of 1/2 a yard of 100% cotton fabric of students choice *minimum of 1/2 a yard of 100% cotton batting *1 spool of cotton thread, 1 bobbin of cotton thread (color of students choice)
**Because bowl cozies can go in the microwave, they need to be made of fabrics/batting/thread that are 100% cotton so they don't cause a fire.**
