In this 4-week class, students will identify situations and conditions in which to use the verbs "to be" in Spanish: Ser and Estar - in Past Tense!
Class experience
Students will spend their time engaged in the following activities:
Day 1 -Reviewing pronouns in Spanish and conjugation of SER and ESTAR in present tense.
-Reviewing nouns in Spanish to use in conjunction with the use of the verb SER and ESTAR
Day 2 -Review the rules for using SER
-Identifying situations and conditions to use the verb SER and practicing in class
Day 3 -Review the rules for using ESTAR
-Identifying situations and conditions to use the verb...This class is taught in English.
Students will learn and practice using the verbs SER and ESTAR.
Drawing from my personal journey as a biliterate in Spanish and English, and armed with a Ph.D. that delved into teachers' understanding of biliteracy, I recognize the immense importance of fostering biliteracy in our students. In this class, we'll be taking a dedicated look at the nuances of the verb "To Be" in Spanish, creating a platform for learners who are keen to enhance their mastery in this area.
