Class experience
US Grade 4
Welcome to Sensational Science! This class is designed to spark your learner's interest in science and curiosity about the world around them! The Sensational Science series of classes are aligned with 4th grade Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and can be taken in any order! This course focuses on physical science topics, specifically energy and reflection. Each week students will be introduced to a new topic, take guided notes, learn vocabulary, get to complete a hands on...
Students will ask questions and predict outcomes about the changes in energy that occur when objects collide. Students will use evidence to construct an explanation relating the speed of an object to the energy of that object. Students will develop a model to describe that light reflecting from objects and entering the eye allows objects to be seen.
Our educators have degrees in elementary education fields. We have several years of experience helping children develop a love for learning and growth mindset through teaching core subjects (math, language arts, science, and social studies).
