About the Teacher: I am a certified teacher in various subjects, but English is my main and very first certification. I have taught it for over 8 years. I am very versed in Literature across the time frames and have taught them for many years in charter and in the classroom. I have taught middle and high school levels and taught this very content. I can promise that I make this class fun. We will cover short stories, Shakespeare, and more. We will also cover time frames and things seen throughout history in reference to literature. This class has activities and small assignments each week that we will discuss in class the following week.
Homework Offered
There will be an assignment weekly to do that will go along with the story and we will discuss their homework in the following class. Weekly reading is mandatory but all other activities are optional.Assessments Offered
I offer weekly assessments most weeks in the folder for your student to take on the topics we covered. Students who want to test their knowledge of the content can take these and submit to be added into their grade. Most of the time, answer pages are also linked in there as well, but in the case there is none, submit for grading.Grades Offered
Grades will be provided via request but require students to submit weekly work to be graded and then averaged at the end for an overall grade. Please let me know the week you enter class if you wish to have a grade, and I will keep track of progress throughout the class.
