It is suggested that children practice reading with an adult as time permits. Children progress more quickly with greater practice time. Ten minutes a day is advisable. Audiobooks are an alternative with children following along while the book is read.Class Experience

Phonics has been proven to be the most reliable way to teach younger children to read. This class will help your learner progress from connecting letter sounds to forming words to learning that certain combinations of letters predictably represent specific sounds. Children are able to rapidly progress when they practice reading daily and this class is intended for just that purpose. Children should be confident in letter names and sounds before beginning this class.
