In this class, we explore the power of self talk and how it can boost confidence and help navigate challenging emotions. Students will discover what self talk is, what it is not, and how to personalize it to best serve their needs. Through interaction with peers and Teacher Jessie, learners will brainstorm ideas and delve into self talk concepts such as limiting beliefs, growth mindset, and self esteem. The class will be engaging and enjoyable, with plenty of opportunities for active participation. Please note that this class includes a fun and interactive Kahoot! challenge. To participate fully, students should download the Kahoot! app or be prepared to join via www.kahoot.it. It's important to note that this class is interactive, and may vary in direction depending on student interaction. We encourage appropriate sharing and respectful conversations on a variety of topics. While the class may run over time, we'll always make sure to cover everything within the scheduled time frame.
