1-2 hours per week. Throughout the course, students will receive 7 or more assignments per week, including: 1. Boom Card flashcards (digital) - Accessible with a free account at www.boomlearning.com. 2. Spelling worksheets (print) 3. Creative writing worksheets (print) Each week, students will receive two writing assignments for each target sound. One assignment focuses on spelling practice with phonics, while the other assignment involves writing complete sentences using the target sound. Participation in flashcards and writing assignments is optional, but I encourage students to share their completed writing with me for feedback!Grading
Upon request, I am available to review students' writing in complete sentences. Simply message me an image of the worksheets, and I'll provide encouraging feedback.Class Experience

Beginner Level
Join a 13-week phonics class to practice reading, spelling, and sentence writing in English. Each week, you'll learn the sounds of letter pairs, like the three sounds of ED, CH, and EA, and the sounds of CI, SI, SSI, and TI.
This class lets you learn at your own pace with access to all 26 weeks of content right away. There are 26 lessons in 13 weeks.
I recommend splitting the class into two lessons a week, like Monday and Wednesday as shown below. However, feel free to choose the days that work best for your family's phonics practice!

For every target sound, I offer Boom Cards, which are digital flashcards with images and audio. You will need to create a free account at www.boomlearning.com to play. These flashcards are a great resource, but like all resources I offer, they are completely optional.
You'll also receive a worksheet for each target sound. Students can practice writing complete sentences with the target sound. Please message me if you'd like copies of these resources to review before you enroll in the class!

I hold a Master’s in Education, specializing in Teaching English Literacy and ESL, but my real learning began when I started teaching full-time. That’s when I discovered how important phonics is for reading success. Now, I bring this approach to all my classes!
