**PLEASE NOTE** This is a SELF-PACED class and is PRE-RECORDED. THIS MEANS STUDENTS WILL WATCH THE PRE-RECORDED VIDEO. There are no live meetings. All interactions between students and the teacher will happen on the class page. This class will be presented via pre-recorded demonstration drawings. Week 1Lesson 1Kawaii Cuteness Halloween Characters Part 3Through the guided drawing process, students will learn how to use simple lines and shapes to create popular Halloween characters in Kawaii style (Japanese origin; the term means "cuteness") The four characters we will concentrate on in this class are: a bat, a cat, a spider and a skeleton. Be sure to enroll your child in part 2 for four different characters as well!.
As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
Paper Pencil, eraser, sharpener Black marker for outlining drawings (I recommend a Sharpie pen or Micron .5 pen or similar, but anything works!) For coloring, choice of colored pencils, crayons or markers.
