**PLEASE NOTE** This is a SELF-PACED class and is PRE-RECORDED. THIS MEANS STUDENTS WILL WATCH THE PRE-RECORDED VIDEO. There are no live meetings. All interactions between students and the teacher will happen on the class page. This class will be presented via pre-recorded demonstration drawings. Week 1Lesson 1Draw Elf Legs!In this fun, seasonal class, students will be guided through the process of drawing a simple pair of elf legs and add details such as a tunic, striped stockings, and curly-toed elf shoes. Students will be given choices as to what colors to color their drawings, as well as the media (I will be using markers or watercolor pencils).
As a veteran art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
Paper (good quality is recommended; if students choose water media, I recommend watercolor paper) pencil, eraser, sharpener black Sharpie for outlining Choice of the following to color: crayons, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, watercolor paint, gel pens (any combo will work as well)
