Week 1Lesson 1Draw Adorable Buggy GnomesIn this fun one-time class, students will learn to draw a classic cartoon Gnome! We will use simple lines and shapes to draw up to three gnomes, discuss different details, decorations and characteristics of three favorite insects: A red ladybug with black spots, a butterfly with purple wings, and a black and yellow striped bee!
As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
