In this 4 week session, we will learn to make a Lego Beyblade launcher and 4 Lego Beyblades (attack, defense, stamina, & a special Bey). We will talk about how each component makes the Bey the type it is.

LESSON BREAKDOWN Building Different Beyblades: We'll start by exploring which Lego pieces work best for each Beyblade type. Follow along as I show you how to put them together and tweak them for maximum performance. Let Your Creativity Fly: Once you've got the hang of it, it's time to unleash your creativity! Spend some extra time experimenting with different Lego pieces to create your own custom Beyblade designs. Mix and match components to see what works best for your ultimate Beyblade creation. SHOWCASE: Show off your creations! After each lesson, share pictures or videos of your Lego Beyblades in the classroom. I'll be here to give you feedback within 24 hours, helping you refine your designs and techniques.

Attack Bey
We will make the 3 components that makes an attack bey and talk about why the components make the bey an attack bey and how the components affect its spin.
After the lesson, students can upload a picture/video of their attack beys to the classroom. Lesson 2:
Defense Bey
We will make the 3 components that makes a defense bey and talk about why the components make the bey a defense bey and how the components affect its spin.
After the lesson, students can upload a picture/video of their defense beys to the classroom. Lesson 3:
Stamina Bey
We will make the 3 components that makes a stamina bey and talk about why the components make the bey a stamina bey and how the components affect its spin.
After the lesson, students can upload a picture/video of their stamina beys to the classroom. Lesson 4:
Draining Bey
We will make the 3 components that makes a draining bey.
We will talk about why the components make the bey a draining bey and how the components affect its spin.

Supply List
Lego pieces to use will be posted in the classroom and sent as a welcome message. Please check your emails and spam folders. Students will also need a sawtooth ripcord. In the file, I have also included the specific names & links for some of the less common pieces so that if you want to purchase them from the Lego store, you are welcome to do so. In the videos, I will be discussing possible substitutions if you don't have a specific piece. The fun thing about building Legos is that we can be creative! We can find different pieces to use and make our own designs. In the videos, I will be explaining the functions of the different components so that once you understand the functions, you can try to figure out how to re-create your Beys using the Lego pieces you have as well.

I have a Master's degree in teaching and over 15 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools. From 2016-2020, I've been teaching and training teachers for online instruction, specializing in methodologies and curriculum development. Accomplishments:
I have spearheaded several initiatives in online teaching, including the first successful online classroom program in the world for impoverished children, which I presented at the International TESOL Convention in 2018. My ultimate desire is to see education made accessible to underprivileged kids worldwide.
