In this class, students will focus on multiplication facts 0-12. Multiple strategies will be shared to help older learners truly grasp and retain the multiplication facts. Being able to quickly compute multiplication facts will help students to continue being successful in higher levels of math. Older students will learn their multiplication facts (0-12) and be able to retain them as they continue to move forward in math.
I have a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of South Florida. I have experience teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry in a public Middle School. I have 10+ years of experience as a math tutor for ages 11 to 18.
Homework Offered
Two homework assignments will be provided weekly for students to practice their multiplication skills.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed through their homework assignments and the weekly review. Parents will be provided feedback on specific sets that students require additional review of.Grades Offered
Students will be provided homework sheets to print.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students can practice their multiplication skills on Khan Academy for immediate feedback. They do not need an account to access the assignments. Youtube links will also be provided for instructional videos.
