Class Experience

US Grade 9 - 12
Beginner Level
In this comprehensive, full curriculum for High School Art 1, we will discover the Artist’s Tools (Elements of Art), their rules (Principles of Design), art history, art criticism and portfolio creation.

I will provide one to two videos per week that includes notes, demonstrations, techniques, and assignment instructions and walk-throughs.

My teaching style is very explanatory. I will provide as much information as possible in the weekly videos, including specific demonstrations and time lapse of my example for the projects and studies. Students will be able to play back and rewatch for any practice of technique or instructions to an assignment.

Interaction will happen through discussion board and conversations, where students will be expected to turn in their work. It is there that I will also provide feedback as needed.
