The students will get homework every week. Will go over it the first few minutes of class. I will let the students know ahead of time where the homework will be.Assessment
I will us the Portfolio of Progress : I will keep their homework and class assignments in order for me to review it and say how are the progress of the student. I will also give them a letter grade A,B,C,D and F.Grading

As an educator with early childhood development students, I have covered many Reading topics that help improve students in their Reading Comprehension, Grammar and Phonics. As I have experience, the students enjoy teaching style as I try to make Spanish and Reading lessons both fun and direct and on topic. In my Spanish classroom, I will cover basic topics such as the greetings. For example, I would teach the students how to say hello, good-bye, thank you and please. Another group of topics, would include days of the week, the months, and seasons. The alphabet, vowels, and shapes will be the foundation of the other areas of topics mentioned. When it comes, to the Reading lessons, the students will start out with the basics such as alphabet and vowels. The phonics will be established with Reading stories and the student will get vocabulary based on the Reading. From the Reading, I will develop lessons about the main idea, setting, main character, plot, conflict, and climax of the story. We can do visual assignments with connection with who, where, what, when, and why. Finally, the vocabulary, capitalization, and grammar will be connection to the text and supporting details of the story.
Learning Goals
The goals will be the foundation of the activity of the day that will later connect to the Reading standards covered in the class. The Reading standards will be the main goals. For example, ask and answer questions and the retelling of the story. I will also help with grammar and writing skills. This will help with the learning goals and study skills for the students to be more organized.
