See It & Say IT in Spanish, as Well as Reading ! 1-On 1 Basic Tutoring .
In my online classroom the students will be able to learn Spanish or Primary( Grade 1-3) Reading Comprehension through visual, auditory and kinesthetic activities that help them enjoy my classroom lessons.
Class experience
As an educator with early childhood development students, I have covered many Reading topics that help improve students in their Reading Comprehension, Grammar and Phonics. As I have experience, the students enjoy teaching style as I try to make Spanish and Reading lessons both fun and direct and on topic. This class is taught in English.
The goals will be the foundation of the activity of the day that will later connect to the Reading standards covered in the class. The Reading standards will be the main goals. For example, ask and answer questions and the retelling of the story. I will also help with grammar and writing skills. This will help with the learning goals and study skills for the students to be more organized.
As an educator I have 11 years in teaching. I have been a tutor for 3 years teaching Spanish and helping with homework. Then I have taught STEM Specialist for 5 years. My last I have taught in a DayCare setting for 3 years.
Homework Offered
The students will get homework every week. Will go over it the first few minutes of class. I will let the students know ahead of time where the homework will be.Assessments Offered
I will us the Portfolio of Progress : I will keep their homework and class assignments in order for me to review it and say how are the progress of the student. I will also give them a letter grade A,B,C,D and F.Grades Offered
The material that the students will need 1. Notebook 2. Pencils 3. Crayons 4. Markers 5. Folder. The material I will be using: 1. Dry erase board 2. Puppets 3. Phonics flash cars and ABC Mouse.com and Phonics worksheet.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
My context will be age appropriate basic on the standards.
