In this 3 week introduction to the Grand Staff, students will learn the music theory of note reading, and a method that reduces the need for memorizing multiple sayings.
Class experience
During this 3 week class, students will learn and/or review notes of the Grand Staff. Students will gain a general overview of the Grand Staff, including Treble and Bass Clef notes. They will learn the “Guide Note” method of note naming, which eliminates the need for learning multiple rhymes. I have been a music teacher for over 20 years, both as a private and group teacher. I have taught multiple ages how to read music, and use the skill to further their music learning journey.
Homework Offered
After each class, a file will be posted with practice worksheets. Students will also have access to the Kahoot quizzes from class to have a little more fun with their practice.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
