Let's make friends while gaining knowledge! Students will learn and/or review the overarching concepts of second grade common core math, including addition, subtraction, place value, data, shapes, and much more! Class topics may be chosen by us or by parental requests.

Students will be able to gain and apply mathematical skills through interactive activities such as bingo, escape rooms, informative videos, and much more! Each week, students will go over one or more topics that have been hand picked by the coach or requested from parents. Depending on the activity, students may work collaboratively, independently, or in turns. Our coaches will introduce concepts to students and guide them to answering questions.

All activities will be shared via the Zoom Screen Share option, and the assigned coach will click answers for the students. Students will be able to discuss and share their answers through discussions, Zoom chat, and/or Zoom annotations. Students will be expected to work with their peers to get to the correct answers with coaches readily available to support.
