⭐️Welcome to Second Grade Full Homeschool Curriculum (3X/Week)! This class covers topics including comprehension, sentence writing, addition and subtraction to 20, numbers to 1000, cultures, states of matter, and more! This class includes student interests to help close learning gaps. I partner with parents to help learners become well-rounded. Watch my class video to the end for a special promo code. This is a structured comprehensive class. It has movement, instruction, and interactive elements. Other activities are arts & crafts, Kahoot games, and Show and Tell for social interaction. This is a great class for 2nd grade students of all levels and abilities. This class is ESL friendly and good for advanced 1st graders. Parental Guidance
Kahoot (In Class) - We will use Kahoot, during class, in a screen-share format. An extra device is not required. Students will have the opportunity to select their own answers.
Youtube (In Class) - We will use Youtube, during class, in a screen-share format. We will use Youtube for movement through academic songs and as a timer.
Didax (In Class) - Didax virtual math manipulatives will be used during lessons in a screen-share format. Students can interact with the virtual math manipulatives using the click and drag remote control feature.
Hoopla (In Class) - Hoopla eBooks / digital books will be used in a screen-share format. This gives students the opportunity practice reading in class.
Supply List
Please print the lesson worksheets before class. Learners can also use blank or notebook paper. Please make sure your student has a pencil pouch close by that contains: ‣Pencils ‣Erasers ‣Coloring supplies (crayons, markers, colored pencils) ‣Scissor ‣Glue/glue stick. Please make sure your student has a binder to store their work.

I have my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language.
I have 6 years of experience teaching Pre-K to 2nd grade. I have been teaching on Outschool since August 2021, creating interactive lessons that address learning gaps. I taught STEAM enrichment classes for Pre-K to middle school, and taught special needs students in my local school district this past school year.
I was also selected to represent Outschool as an Outschool Ambassador at a state Homeschool Expo in May 2024.
