We will work on directed drawings centered around seasonal and holiday themes while also using Math and the Elements of Art to create. We will also discuss fun Science facts related to the subject of our Art.
I have been a certified teacher for 13 years. I taught 2nd grade for 8 years, Kindergarten for 3 years, and Art for 2 years. My students have truly enjoyed using art as an expression of creativity. Art has an amazing way of expanding the subjects of Math and Science. I LOVE showing children how they can be young artists.
The basic supplies for this ongoing class are listed below. Not all of these supplies are needed every week. I will post the specific supplies needed each week in the classroom before the start of class. White Paper (Copy Paper, Cardstock, Watercolor, Etc.)
