This class gives students who have created one or multiple Scratch projects the opportunity to share those projects with other users, test them out, get feedback and support, and grow a following. Students will learn how to share their projects and their Scratch channels to get feedback and grow their Scratch fan club. They will learn how to provide constructive feedback for other classmates via comments on their Scratch project page. If we have time after the Scratch project showcase, weāll also test your Scratch block coding knowledge with some rounds of Kahoot. Scratch is a free, open-source platform for block coding created by software engineers from MIT. Students will create their free account and use it for the class. No additional materials are required. Please assist your student in creating their own free account so they will be ready for the first class so they can save all of their projects, explore other projects on Scratch, and share their projects with friends.

Adriel "AJ" Puello
I have been an avid video game player since I was a kid. Some of my favorite games include Minecraft, League of Legends, and Call of Duty. Now Iām just as passionate about teaching kids how they can make their own games to play, and Scratch is the perfect starting point. I love to be active playing sports or hanging with my friends. When Iām not working, studying, or exercising, I am writing and recording songs. I relate well with kids from all ethnic backgrounds, and I am fully bilingual in Spanish and English. I am currently a student at Florida A&M in Tallahassee, FL, where I won a full scholarship with an ROTC Marine scholarship. I love teaching kids how to create games and animations with code on Scratch!
