I’ve been a professional developer for nearly a decade. In the past I've worked for Dell, Apple, Best Buy, and the Government of New Zealand. Over the last 4 years, I’ve been teaching and mentoring aspiring junior developers.
You can create a free account on https://scratch.mit.edu/join. Your student will need a Windows PC, Apple Mac, or Chromebook to complete this class. Unfortunately, Scratch does not work well on iPads at this time. ******** Students will need to be comfortable typing and use a mouse/track pad with their device. ********
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
3 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
******** Students will need to be very comfortable typing and use a mouse/track pad with their device. ********
