Welcome to the study of the human body in English! Each class will be a different part of the human body. You can join the class at any time! This class is taught in English. Each class we will study a different topic where we will discuss what each part of the body does. There will be printable material to make a mini book, cutting and pasting for sorting, and labeling to identify the names of the parts. I will be leading class discussion, class presentation, and time for the students to complete the materials during class. This is an example of the discussion questions: The Respiratory System What is it? What are lungs? What do they do? How do they work? Experiment: Interactive Lung Model These are the topics that will be covered in this class: 1. Week of January 8th: The Respiratory System 2. Week of January 15th: The Cells 3. Week of January 22nd: The Tongue and the Taste Buds 4. Week of January 29th: The Bones 5. Week of February 5th: The Muscular System 6. Week of February 12th: Teeth 7. Week of February 19th: The Ear and Hearing 8. Week of February 26th: The Eye and Vision 9. Week of March 4th: The Brain 10. Week of March 11th: The Circulatory System and Blood 11. Week of March 18th: The Five Senses 12. Week of March 25th: The Digestive System 13. Week of April 1st: The Sense of Touch and Skin

Spanish Classes:
I teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced Spanish. Lessons are thematic. They contain vocabulary, incidental grammar, and a communicative component all throughout the lesson. Beginner learners will learn to form sentences in class.
1-on-1 Tutoring Language Classes:
One-on-one Spanish classes are ideal to work at the student’s pace and build confidence. Lessons are designed to meet the student’s needs and strengths.
Classes are 30 minutes.
Education Background:
I have a bachelors degree in Counseling Psychology, a Post-Baccalaureate in Early Childhood Education, followed by a Masters Degree in TESOL from Michigan State University. I have taught students of all ages from toddlers to adults. My classes are characterized by being dynamic with music, reading, and talking.
ESL - EFL English as a Second Language Classes:
I teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced English classes. Lessons can be about books, specific grammar questions / exercises. I also teach advanced conversation classes. These classes start out with a prompt or theme followed by questions to guide the conversation. Learners are welcome to share their ideas, ask questions, and interact with other learners.
Classes are 25 minutes.
