What is sleep and why do we dream? These questions, plus many more will be answered in this one-time science class, also listed in my weekly ongoing "Springing Into Science is Fun!" sessions throughout the week.

We will discuss the importance of sleep and what happens when you don't get enough. We will also discuss the different sleep stages and order them on the worksheet. Students will draw a picture depicting a dream they have had and decide whether is was a good, bad or recurring dream.

The worksheet is included in the welcome message on the classroom page. Please print it and gather the supplies before class (pencil, colored pencils or crayons and scissors). If you don't have a printer, your child is welcome to use a blank piece of paper.

NOTE: My Springing Into Science is Fun! ongoing sessions are currently held at various times and days throughout the week. I teach a new science lesson each week and have enough lessons for the entire school (plus more!). I will gladly start a new session with your learner if a better time and day works for you. Send me a message and we can talk about it.

Hello! My name is Sharon, Teacher Sharon. I am both thankful and excited to have this opportunity to help children from all over the world have fun while learning. I love making learning fun!

I have my Masters of Education (MEd) and over 20 years of experience teaching and learning from children of all ages. I have experience as a nursery school director, a Kid's Club supervisor (twice) and a classroom teacher for Pre-K through high school. I have also taught technology, after-school elementary science classes, cupcake decorating, and brick building.

I am very fortunate to have grown up overseas and have lived all over the world. Some of my many passions include creating fun, educational classes, scuba diving, traveling, science, crafting, my precious dog, cat, fish and snails and of course teaching.

I like to keep class sizes small to help learners engage and participate. If your child is interested in any of my classes that are not currently scheduled, or if a different time or day would work better for you, please feel free to contact me.

Learning in my classroom is engaging, energetic, fun, enjoyable, upbeat and entertaining. "Your child won't want to leave at the end of class and will beg to come back for more." (That's my superhero catch phrase.)

NOTE: I am very flexible with class scheduling. If you are interested in one of my classes, but you don't see it listed on a day or time that you want, please find a class that is already listed when you want the class. Send me a message and I will do my best to switch the class that you want with the one that is already listed.

I look forward to helping your child have fun while learning. Have a wonderful day,

~Teacher Sharon🙂
