Have you ever wondered what is light and sound ? This is a small group class for students to learn and delve deeper into understanding how light and sound works. In this 2 day class learners will get to do experiments from simple home supplies to understand the concepts of light and sound. Day 1: Light Discover the sources of light , how light helps us see things. Understand what is refraction and reflection through these fun experiments . Day 2 : Sound Discover what is sound and how sound waves travel through different mediums. Understand the pitch and frequency through the fun experiments and videos. This is a highly interactive class and needs learners to ensure all the experiment materials are with them. There are fun games to check their understanding as well. This class aims to understand the fundamental concepts of light and sound , which is needed further in science application.

For Light experiments Day 1: flashlight , blank side of an old CD, A glass jar, an opaque mug, a shiny spoon, a marker , 2 sheets of blank white paper. For Sound experiments Day 2: A wire hanger and a long piece of string (thread/yarn), empty glass bottle, spoon and some water.
